2050 HP armored unit. Fighting a Bastion is a full commitment: 30+ seconds of sustained fire, multiple reloads, and you'll burn through ammo and probably use a med. After the fight, you're a weakened target. Smart players wait for Bastion fights to end, then push the wounded survivor.

Tank fight. Extended engagement that drains ammo, shield, and meds. You emerge weak. Other players know this.

52 Ferro shots (over a full mag of reloads), 147 Bettina shots (7+ mags), 21 Hullcracker shots

Hullcracker (21 shots, purpose-built for this), Bettina (sustained fire with Strong pen). Avoid Bobcat/Stitcher (Very Weak pen is useless).

Dam BGs (most common), Buried City. Rare on Stella Montis.

Heavy ARC Plating, Large Circuit Board, Bastion Core

Avoid unless you have Hullcracker and a team, or you specifically need Bastion drops. The ammo cost alone makes it a losing trade in most solo situations.

Weak Point

Destroy the canister on his rear, to expose it's weakpoint.
