The ARC Turbine is the new raid-boss-tier ARC introduced with Riven Tides in Patch 1.26.0. The big edge for raiders: it's docile until engaged, so you initiate the fight. Floating machine, brutal defensive abilities once provoked, lands and patrols. Mechanics are public; HP, damage, and TTK numbers are still being measured. Until KILLMATH has confirmed numbers, treat fight planning conservatively — but don't pass up the loot.
New in Patch 1.26.0 (Riven Tides). Floating ARC machine. Calm and docile until engaged — meaning you choose when the fight starts. That's a rare advantage against raid-boss-tier ARC. Once provoked: brutal defensive abilities, lands, patrols. Engage on your terms with the right loadout and you take a fresh resource source most players are still scared of.
Pending precise measurement. Plan for a sustained engagement — bring extra Heavy Ammo (now 60/stack) and a backup mag. If you're running Hullcracker, 15-20 rockets is a reasonable opening budget.
ARC-armor-pen weapons. Bettina got a +33% damage vs ARC armor buff in 1.26.0 — it's probably the cleanest answer right now. Hullcracker and Ferro are the established Strong-pen options. Bring whichever you have stash for; this isn't a fight to spare ammo on.
Riven Tides (confirmed). 1.27.0 fixed visibility/landing behavior — was previously bugged.
Pending — Patch 1.26.0 verification in progress. New raid-boss-tier ARC means new salvage; expect at least one rare component drop unique to the Turbine.
Bring Bettina or Hullcracker, take the first shot from cover, and commit. The Turbine is new content with new drops — early raiders who learn the fight will be the first ones farming whatever Embark hooked up to it.
