Ferro with a 6-round magazine. Same 40 damage, same 2.5x headshot, same Strong pen. But you get 6 shots before reloading instead of 1. At Tier IV the fire rate hits 1.17 shots/sec, making this one of the most oppressive mid-range weapons in the game. The trade-off: requires Gunsmith 2 and costs more to craft.

Identical damage to Ferro. 3 body shots through Light, 4 through Medium and Heavy. 2 headshots kill through any shield tier. The advantage over Ferro is sustain — 6-round mag means you can fight multiple players without reloading.

Anvil is Ferro's upgrade path. Same damage, better sustain, faster fire rate. Costs more. If your stash supports it, always Anvil over Ferro.
