Riven Tides is the first coastal map in Arc Raiders — abandoned shoreline on the western edge of the Rust Belt. The new ARC Turbine patrols it. A new map condition (Beachcombing) uses Dockmaster's Detector to dig buried loot from sand. The only weapon stat change in the entire patch window is the Bettina rebalance — significant enough to recompute every TTK column.
This guide covers what changed in the data layer. Stats marked "pending" require fresh testing — the post-1.26.0 numbers below are derived from official patch notes; in-raid frame counting is ongoing.
A coastal/abandoned shoreline map on the western coast of the Rust Belt. Confirmed POIs:
- **Panorama Azzurro** — resort/hotel POI. Pool deck, rooftop bar, beachfront access. Multi-floor — sniper sightlines from the roof, CQC in the rooms. - **Harbor / Dockyard** — Exodus port. Cranes, shipping containers, sea wall, partial flooding. Tight CQC sightlines, lots of cover, water hazards. - **Beachfront** — sand, beach, sun loungers. Open ground — exposed but fast to traverse. Beachcombing loot buried here. - **Field Depot** — confirmed POI from 1.27.0 quest fix. Likely a supply/loot building.
The combination of vertical sniper sightlines (Panorama rooftop) and tight CQC inside the dockyard means the map punishes both pure-range and pure-CQC builds. A versatile loadout is recommended pending in-raid testing — Renegade or Bettina + a CQC secondary (Bobcat or Il Toro).
Spawn counts, loot zones, and station counts are pending the next Raid Theory pull.
Exclusive to Riven Tides. Use a **Dockmaster's Detector** to dig buried loot from the sand on the beachfront. Detector is a new Common gadget; data pending.
ARC Turbine is the headline ARC for this patch. Floating machine, calm and docile until engaged. Once provoked: deploys brutal defensive abilities, lands, and patrols. Treated as raid-boss tier (Matriarch convention) — HP, damage profile, and TTK are pending in-raid measurement. Patch 1.27.0 fixed visibility and landing behavior bugs.
ARC-armor-pen weapons are likely the answer — Ferro, Bettina, Hullcracker. Bettina's new +33% damage vs ARC armor (see below) is likely material here. **Avoid solo until HP and damage are measured.**
The Bettina is the only weapon with calculator-grade stat changes in the entire 1.22→1.27 window. Patch 1.26.0 changes:
- Base damage: **14 → 16** - Headshot damage: **28 → 32** (multiplier 2.0× unchanged) - Base fire rate: **285 RPM → 235 RPM** (-17.5%; T1 drops from ~4.79 rps to ~3.95 rps) - Per-shot dispersion: **−40%** (slower bloom) - Dispersion recovery time: **−30%** (faster recovery) - Damage vs ARC armor: **+33%**
Bettina trades raw rate of fire for per-shot stopping power and tighter dispersion. The PVE/PVP hybrid pitch is intact. New PvP STK against shielded targets:
| Shield | Body | Head | |---|---|---| | None | 7 | 4 | | Light (Green) | 8 | 5 | | Medium (Blue) | 9 | 6 | | Heavy (Purple) | 9 | 6 |
T1 body TTK vs Heavy Shield is ~2.0s (9 shots × 0.25s shot interval). Headshot STK improved by 1 across most shield tiers vs the pre-patch numbers. Run the simulation yourself in the Bettina TTK calculator.
PvE shots-to-kill recomputed at base damage 16 (the +33% ARC bonus is **not** folded into the table — schema doesn't track per-weapon armor multipliers, so live PvE values will be even better than the table shows):
| Enemy | HP | Old (14 dmg) | New (16 dmg, base) | |---|---|---|---| | Shredder | 480 | 35 | 30 | | Sentinel | 300 | 22 | 19 | | Rocketeer | 1100 | 79 | 69 | | Leaper | 1100 | 79 | 69 | | Bastion | 2050 | 147 | 129 | | Bombardier | 2670 | 191 | 167 |
**Stats marked unverified.** Fire rates are derived from the patch-note 235/285 ratio applied to pre-1.26.0 TEON-tested tier values. Frame-count testing pending.
Heavy Ammo stack size went from 40 to 60. This is a quiet buff to anyone running Ferro, Anvil, or Bettina — same weight per stack, 50% more shots before reloading inventory. Recompute your loadout cost in the First Principles Farming calculator — Heavy weapon runs are now meaningfully cheaper per kill.
- **Photoelectric Cloak** — weight **1 → 3**, power use **2.5/s → 10/s**. The cloak got significantly heavier and burns power 4× faster. The "free invisibility" era is over. Treat it as a tactical option, not a default carry. - **Surge Coil** — actual range is **10m**, not 75m (1.26.0 fixed a tooltip bug). KILLMATH never displayed the wrong value. - **Vaporizer Regulator** — stack size **1 → 3**. Stockpiling for Dolabra crafting just got 3× more inventory-efficient. - **Trigger 'Nade** — added 1s lockout after throw, 1.3s after trigger. Throw-spam strategies are dead.
- **Dam Battlegrounds**: Comets removed from standard sessions. Firefly presence "heavily reduced." - **Buried City**: Comet presence reduced. - **Vaporizers**: added to "more maps and conditions" (Embark didn't specify which).
If you've been farming on Dam BGs or Buried City, your ambient ARC threat profile is lower than it was. Updated spawn counts pending Raid Theory pull.
The 1.27.0 hotfix (May 5) layered three Riven-Tides-specific fixes on top:
1. ARC Turbine landing and visibility bugs fixed. 2. Trigger 'Nade re-fix (the 1.23.0 fix didn't fully land). 3. Field Depot POI fix on Riven Tides — a quest objective ("Off the Radar") was pointing to the wrong location.
The following content shipped with Riven Tides but doesn't affect calculator data — covered separately in editorial:
- **Durability system overhaul** — touches gear longevity but not combat math. - **New items** — Powered Descender (Epic Gadget, fall mitigation), Crash Mat (Uncommon Throwable), White Flag (Common Deployable), Dockmaster's Detector (Common Gadget — required for Beachcombing), Gel Patches (Avian Alarm project reward). Awaiting Raid Theory pull for stats. - **New augment** — Tactical Mk.3 (Smoke). Awaiting Raid Theory pull. - **Cosmetic sets** — Solare, Rachetta, Corsaro, Castaway, Sandveil. - **Limited-time event content** — Last Resort event ends May 25; Avian Alarm project.
1. **If you main Bettina**: re-test in the TTK calculator. The fire rate cut is significant — your old muscle memory for spray duration will overshoot. 2. **If you don't main Bettina**: consider switching. The +33% ARC damage and tighter dispersion make it one of the strongest hybrid PVE/PVP weapons in the game post-1.26.0. 3. **Heavy Ammo runs got cheaper.** Recalculate your break-even in the Loadout Cost Calculator. 4. **Drop Riven Tides at least once.** Even if the loot data is incomplete, learning the POI layout and the Beachcombing mechanic now pays off when the patch settles. 5. **Avoid the ARC Turbine solo.** Mechanics are public, numbers aren't. Wait for the verification pass before committing ammo.
- Bettina post-1.26.0 fire rates are **derived** from the patch-note 235/285 ratio applied to pre-1.26.0 TEON-tested tier values. They are tagged `_statsVerified: false` in our master JSON. Frame-count testing is in progress. - Bettina's +33% damage vs ARC armor is **not** modeled in the PvE damage table — the schema doesn't track per-weapon armor multipliers. The displayed STK values are computed from base damage 16 only and will overstate actual shots needed in-game. - ARC Turbine, Riven Tides spawn counts, and the new items/augment are all stubbed pending the next Raid Theory pull.
